Hello friends and family!
You are graciously invited to attend my first official Deeksha event. Most of you are familiar with this procedure, some are not. So, here’s a quick overview of what it’s all about. :)
What is Deeksha?
Deeksha (or Oneness Blessing) is a non-denominational transfer of divine intelligent energy used to promote progress, healing, clarity and knowledge through energy directly from the Source of all creation (aka, “God”, “Spirit”, “Jesus”, “Buddha”, “Allah”, etc.). The process works by creating a neurobiological shift in the brain and awakening the energy centers (chakras) in the body.
Deeksha (Sanskrit for “gift” or “benediction”) is a Blessing from the Source that activates a shift in consciousness, freeing you from the suffering created by the mind, balancing the body’s natural healing energies, and attuning the brain with the fields of unity, bringing an end to the illusion of apparent separation. Once you receive the blessing, a gradual awakening process begins that leads you naturally to a lasting state of oneness, inner peace, and well-being.
How did Deeksha begin?
In the 1980s, a group of people in India started noticing energy fluxes with their children as they played together. It was observed that they would touch each other on the head and be able to attune to endless intelligence and knowledge that a child would not be able to know. Spiritual scholars then studied these behaviors and were able to understand how this transfer of energy could be used for everyone. The Oneness University soon was born and began training people to be able to give Deeksha to their brothers and sisters.
Once the Western world got a hold of the idea, it became a very structured practice of unstructured results. Up until 2008, one would have to go to India to be initiated as a Deeksha Giver. But, thankfully, people were able to be initiated as Trainers and could come back to the U.S. (or their respective country) and initiate Deeksha Givers. The 21-Day Initiation Course in India has since been modified to a one week course, and then to a two day course (the most popular amongst Deeksha Initiation gatherings today).
During these intensive courses, you learn how this phenomenon started and is growing at a rapid rate every day, and the deeper levels of consciousness that are available to every human being on this planet. You are then initiated in a small ceremony through a special form of Deeksha. I attended this course, and would love to have the privilege to pass on the unlimited supply of blessings available to you. :)
How do you receive Deeksha?
Deeksha is transferred through a Giver acting as a vessel for Source energy to flow into your body through your brain. A Giver will place their hands gently upon the crown of your head anywhere from 30 seconds to a couple minutes, depending on how long the Giver feels the connection should last. Each Giver is Divinely guided as to how long each blessing can and should last. However, scientific studies prove that the Deeksha is transferred the split second the connection is made, so time really isn’t a factor. The strong feeling of Oneness is what keeps a Giver attached to your head. ;)
What should I expect to feel during? After?
Some people feel slight tingling throughout their bodies during Deeksha. Some people feel absolutely nothing at all. The important thing to remember is this is a practice of Oneness. It doesn’t pick and choose. It does and WILL work for everyone. We are all connected. Your feelings and reactions to it will all be unique to your own current path. You may feel a little tired after, or you may feel more energized. As I said, it is all very subjective. Some people don’t feel anything during the actual Deeksha process, but report that days, even weeks later, they notice a significant change in their life. Again, Deeksha does and will work for everyone. All that is required is your open mind and heart.
What is the process?
I have a sacred room set up at my new condo where I have placed chairs in a circle for everyone to sit in. My fellow Deeksha Giver friend, Morgan (who got initiated with me in Arvada last December) will be there to give Deeksha to all of you. We will sit in sacred silence with some beautiful music, begin with a meditation and invocation, and then commence the Blessings. The entire process will take about an hour.
I also advise that after the Blessings are finished, that you stay with them for a few minutes after we conclude the session. I will have plenty of space in my apartment to sit or lay down if you prefer, but it is important to let the Blessing soak in, for maximum effect. Meditate and/or pray in your own way, and let your awakening begin. :)
Ananda Mandala
Also, for those of you who want an added effect to this process, I will be doing Ananda Mandala one hour before the Deeksha process. Ananda Mandala is a 45 minute group breathing meditation. It is very powerful, and a great warm up for opening the chakras to receive Deeksha on an entirely different level. This is not required for the regular process, but if you enjoy meditation and would like to experience one of the most effective and powerful ones out there, come join us!
Ananda Mandala will begin at 3:00pm. Deeksha will begin at 4:00pm. Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to the event you want to attend.
I am VERY excited to start this process with you all, and I can’t wait to see you. Please contact me if you have any questions about the process or need directions better than the Evite can give you.
Love and Blessings,
Andrew
